David Yearsley River Heritage Center

May 21, 2019

This historic livery stable was relocated from 1st and D Street in 2004. Today it is operated by Friends of the Petaluma River and used for boating recreation and science and ecology classes for Petaluma students. It also hosts the annual Rivertown Revival.

We researched historic archives to find what the original façade looked like. Some of it existed, but over the years it had suffered many repairs and remodels.
